In Training for Trailing

image2Tundra is my first SAR dog and wow, the bond between dog and handler was instant. The search for Tundra began in the late fall of 2013.
Tundra is a black lab that truly loves people.  Tundra is energetic and focused when he is working.  He loves to discover new things.  At home the family refers to him as “Tundy”.  He is a cuddler who makes all who need some love feel better.  The game of searching for others is something he has taken to quickly.  Tundra is a curious boy that has a sense for critters and finding their path.  Tundra has provided me with the opportunity to learn a new craft and connect with others in the SAR world.  Our call to service is at our core.  We train, play and strive to be ready for the call.
