In Training for Trailing

BlackJack is a 1.5 year old Lab/Australian Shepherd mix. He has been in training for Search and Rescue for a year now and is currently training for trailing, but shows promise as an airscent dog as well. BlackJack’s strong drive and willing-to-please nature has been key in his training progress and will make him an excellent search dog. His keen intellect allowed him to be the youngest dog to pass a CGC test at just 2 months old, while his overbounding energy and endurance allows him to work without rest for hours on a problem until the subject is found. His favorite problems as of yet have been building searches. BlackJack’s favorite activity outside of Search and Rescue is playing with the cats and herding the horses.
