Quest is a blue Australian Cattle Dog.  She is typical of her breed in that she is very smart, willing and quick to learn (both good things and bad), very active, ferocious in her devotion to duty and extremely devoted to me.  We started her training as a search dog when she was 9 weeks old and although her training had a lot of interruptions(trying to figure out her food allergies, toe nail injuries, an eye injury that ended up making her lose an eye, loss of my old dog/her buddy and then the loss of the other old dog in the household) we took our last certification test in December of 2013 and became certified in trailing in May of 2014.  Quest is extremely playful and active (some people say she is wild and crazyJ), but is also a sweetheart that loves to cuddle.
